Thousands of people across the UK will post crossed finger selfies on social media on Tuesday 29 October to help celebrate The National Lottery’s 25th birthday.
This is our way of saying thank you to National Lottery players for their huge contribution to charities and community groups across the UK.
We’d love you to take part by posting your own selfie.
What you need to do:
Gather a few volunteers, staff or community members, and take a selfie of everyone posing with crossed fingers in a fun, colourful or iconic location or wherever you are.
Write a short message thanking National Lottery players for helping your charity or community group & include the hashtag #NationalLottery25.
On Tuesday 29 October, post your crossed finger selfie and message on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (or all three) and tag us!
Why take part?
By posting your selfie on the day, you’ll show that you’re part of a network of life-changing community groups where ordinary people do extraordinary things.
