The Community Cohesion Team in Mid and South West Wales is leading a research project to gauge attitudes towards community, especially in regard to the impact of Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic.
The results of this will inform the work of the Community Cohesion Team across the four counties of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Powys.
As part of our consultation, we are carrying a focus group for people from the local communities with the aim of hearing their views, experiences, and ideas on what could be done to improve cohesion in the future.
The engagement of the local community is pivotal to the success of our overall research project, and we were wondering if you could help us reach out to potential volunteers who would be willing to participate and share their views? The evidence collected will be used to identify potential community tensions and issues, and inform planning for improving community integration across the four counties of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, and Powys.
The forum will be run online through a video-conference tool, and will last approximately 45 minutes. The feedback provided during those sessions will be strictly confidential and we will not use names or any personal identification when reporting.
Volunteers may book a ticket via the Eventbrite link and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this link with potential participants within your community who might be interested in sharing their views and experiences.
The Focus Group will take place on Thursday 3rd September at 7 pm.
All participants to our focus groups will automatically be entered into a draw for a chance to win one of five £20 Amazon vouchers.
