Counselling and Support for Young People During COVID 19

Several organisations are offering help and support to young people to support them during COVID 19

New Pathways Counselling Service

New Pathways offer a Children and Young Person's Counselling Servicer to individuals aged 3-18 years old.  Despite the nature of the organisation, this is a generic counselling service for children and young people in Powys for help and support on any issues they maybe experiencing.  They accept self referrals and referrals from Professionals. Please see the attached referral form for more information. They typically offer up to 18 counselling sessions to the individuals they support.

The Windfall Centre

With schools now closed to many, having children at home full time can be a joy, but it can also add to the stress of families in these unprecedented and uncertain times.  Families may have already been experiencing difficulties and so may need some support.

The therapy team at The Windfall Centre are making themselves available either by telephone on 01597 829346 or via email on info(at)windfallcentre.co.uk Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm.  They can offer support, advice and a listening ear to parents, foster carers  and of course children and young people who may be feeling under stress and need to talk. There is absolutely no shame in needing some help in any circumstances but certainly not in these.

They will either answer your call directly or if you leave a message or email they will return your call or email as soon as possible. So please remember to leave a contact number.

WIndfall are holding all the families of Windfall and our community in their thoughts and are there to help when they can
