Building on the YES strategy, Entrepreneurship Exchange Cymru works with partners and stakeholders across Wales to support enablement of a visible, simple, and connected youth entrepreneurial ecosystem in Wales.
As part of the work of the Entrepreneurship Exchange Cymru we are seeking to recruit volunteers aged 16-25 to form a Youth Entrepreneurship Agents network that is representative of youth entrepreneurship voice in Wales.
This role will run from March to April 2021 with young people asked to contribute a maximum of 12 hours of their time to participate in 4 virtual meetings.
In addition, members of the Youth Entrepreneurship Agents network will also be offered exclusive access to specifically designed masterclasses to enable their development as entrepreneurial leaders of the future.
We are seeking applications from young people who have a high aspiration to be their own boss one day or who may be working towards or have recently started their own business. All information about the opportunity including links to a simple application form can be found in the attached information/ flyers.
No one can predict what the next 12 months may hold. We can however anticipate for young people in Wales it will unquestionably present considerable challenges in particular for those at the start of their career journeys. It is intended the Youth Entrepreneurship Agents will embed young people as a key stakeholder informing us of young people’s thoughts and needs towards self-employment, including the impact of COVID 19.
"We would be really grateful if you could please share this opportunity with young people you are working with/supporting"
Please also find a partners pack should you wish to share the opportunity on your social media platforms.
Please feel free to circulate this information with partners/ networks you feel would be of interest to.
