a) To work as part of a team to support the following aims:
Delivering the provision of a comprehensive and integrated service
covering all major aspects of supporting Community buildings in
Powys
b) To provide development and capacity building support for:
• Thriving, sustainable and effective organisations
• Active and involved citizens
c) To provide opportunities for learning and skills development for
volunteers, trustees and staff of Community Buildings in Powys to
enable them to:
• Operate their organisations effectively
• Develop and deliver safe, sustainable and good quality
services, activities and facilities
• Develop personal skills and knowledge
d) To support the aim of “Digital by Default” through integrated and
effective use of technology
Development Support to Powys Third Sector Community buildings
• Provide general information, guidance and mentoring, to
support third sector organisations to achieve their objectives
and develop their effectiveness
• Provide support to develop new projects and initiatives which
meet local needs
• Provide funding support
• Provide trustee and governance support
• Promote PAVO services including chargeable services
• Provide advice and support on citizen engagement to local
groups and organisations
• Identify gaps in provision through partnerships, networks,
members and other intelligence sources
• Lead/co-ordinate local developments
• Investigate scope for local provider consortia and establish,
where appropriate
• Contribute to the overall development and improvement of the
service
• Facilitate good relationships

• Mentoring of groups and individuals
• Being a 'sounding board' for groups
• Create and maintain content for website /social media etc
• Funding support, including assisting groups with applications

• Design and deliver training and webinars
