Project Manager

Hourly rate: £20

Fixed-term contract: 1 day a week for 3 months, from May 2024 to July 2024 - 8h/day

The contract may extend for a longer period and/or more days per week, subject to successful funding applications.

Location: Llanidloes, Powys, Wales

Although much can be done remotely, the work will require regular site visits and meetings in Llanidloes.

Job summary

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team and facilitate the move of Great Oak Foods, a small community run grocers shop to new premises.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation of the project, its monitoring and evaluation. They will also participate in strategy development, fundraising, grant applications, and community involvement, including organising volunteers and social media communication. 

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of successful project management.


Please note that we are looking to contract with a freelance / self-employed person in the delivery of the required services. The successful applicant will be responsible for their own tax, National insurance & pension contributions.
