Information Volunteer
Purpose of role: To provide information delivery and promotional support to the JobSense team.
Location: Office based in Wrexham or homebased with travel to events across Powys, Wrexham and Flintshire
Key Responsibilities:
- Running information stalls at events
- Running information stalls at specific locations (ie hospital, jobcentre etc)
- Distributing information leaflets to relevant organisations- this may entail booking appointments and hand delivering leaflets to specific locations
- Attending events with staff to assist with networking and promotion of the JobSense project
- Any other relevant duties
Person Specification:
- Good communication skills
- Confidence talking to all types of people
- Experience in promotion/advertising or willingness to learn
- Good IT skills (where required)
- Team working
- Ability to use own initiative
- Motivated
- Self starter
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn about issues affecting those with sensory loss
