Supporting and building the capacity of local groups is what PAVO is here for, so we would love to work together with you on developing a training programme to serve the needs of your team, volunteers or community.

STRUCTURE

We have two tiers in our Tailored Training offer:

• Our existing Portfolio Courses, which have been designed to meet the needs of a range of organisations at different levels of experience, and which we can deliver for your team at a date and place convenient to you. 

• And our fully Tailored Courses, which are designed to suit the background, motivations and learning needs of a particular cohort of participants.

Our courses are pitched differently for different audiences, from our 'Essentials' courses, aimed at the new and emerging community groups to equip them with the core skills in a particular topic; to our 'Development' courses which take a more strategic view of topics to help embed skills and best practice in organisations.

We also have different length sessions for different contexts, which varies the depth to which each session can explore the topics:

• Half-Day Workshop (of 3.5 hours); or
• Full-Day Course (of 6 hours).
• We can also offer 2-day course pairings that have some element of progression, Taster sessions of up to 2 hours, or whatever other arrangement suits you.

PRICING

As you can see, as with our open training programme, there is a significant discount from being a PAVO Member.

We have to charge a competitive fee for our Tailored Training to help cover our costs and subsidise our open training programme. However, PAVO is here to serve the Third Sector in Powys and we recognise that Tailored / In-House training can make a signifcant difference to smaller organisations.
