MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN POWYS FUND

A new grant scheme for third sector organisations in Powys.

PAVO are pleased to announce that 16 organisations have been awarded Year 1 funding from the Gwneud gwahaniaeth ym Mhowys / Making a Difference in Powys fund. The aim of the Gwneud gwahaniaeth ym Mhowys / Making a Difference in Powys fund is to grow the capacity of local organisations to deliver new activities that address the priorities for investment identified under the Communities and Place theme of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Powys.

The fund priorities are:
● Communities and place
● Community Transport
● Cultural Heritage and Tourism
● Climate Action
● Cost of Living
● Connecting Communities (digitally or otherwise)
The process was very competitive resulting in some 39 applications being received.

Organisations awarded Year 1 & Year 2 Gwneud gwahaniaeth ym Mhowys / Making a Difference in Powys fund.

(Year 2 awards are currently conditional and dependent on UK Government authorising availability of funding)
