WARBURTONS FAMILY MATTERS COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAMME

Micro-grants up to £400 for not-for-profit organisations in England, Scotland and Wales for projects that benefit families.

o Who can apply: not-for-profit organisations in England, Scotland and Wales. Employees of Warburtons may also apply on behalf of an organisation if they are actively involved with the applicant as a sponsor, trustee or in a voluntary capacity.

The Warburtons Family Matters Community Grants programme provides small grants up to £400 (with no matched funding requirement) to not-for-profit organisations across Great Britain (England. Scotland and Wales, but not Northern Ireland) for projects that benefit families and meet one or more of the following themes.

1. Health - supporting families to care for each other and lead healthier lives:
o   Improving physical health, and/or
o   Improving wellbeing.

2. Place - supporting families to flourish in communities that are safer, greener and more inclusive:
o   Making spaces safe and inclusive, and/or
o   Connecting communities with the environment.

3. Skills - supporting families to gain useful skills for life and work:
o   Developing useful life skills, and/or
o   Developing useful skills for employment.

Grants can be used to support projects and activities and organisations that will directly benefit families and have a noticeable social impact on people's lives.

Funding is not available for:

o Activities that are for sponsorship, advertising and promotion alone, which primarily generate commercial returns. 
o Activities that benefit Warburtons' commercial business. 
o Activities that discriminate on the basis of race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or national origin. 
o Activities that have already taken place.
o Activities that have a negative impact on the environment. 
o Individuals. 
o Organisations that are unable provide appropriate registration and financial documents, bank details and personal details of trustees/directors. 
o Organisations that are unable to report back on outcomes.
o Organisations that mainly focus animal welfare. 
o Organisations that promote political or religious viewpoints to their beneficiaries. 
o Organisations that provide grants, bursaries or financial donations to other organisations or individuals.
 o Organisations that may be harmful to the Warburtons brand, 
or
o Salaries.

The next application deadlines are:

1. Monday 9th May 2022. Successful applicants are expected to be notified towards the end of July 2022, and
2. Monday 8th August 2022. Successful applicants are expected to be notified towards the end of October 2022.
