One of the UK’s largest independent grant-making trusts, the Tudor Trust updated its funding guidelines earlier this year, announcing that it was still focusing its funding on:
“smaller community-led groups that support people at the margins of society, and the information we need to see in a first-stage proposal remains largely unchanged. We have however taken the opportunity to give some additional guidance to applicants who are having to work in very different ways due to the Coronavirus pandemic and who are operating in a climate of uncertainty."
Applications should be made online following the Trust’s 2-stage application process:
o Stage 1: applicants should create an account on the Trust’s website, then complete a brief online form and upload their cover letter, answers to the five application questions (see funding guidelines) and a copy of their latest annual accounts.
o Stage 2: the Trust will invite successful Stage 1 applicants to proceed to a second stage. This involves an in-depth conversation, via phone or Zoom with one of the Trust's grant managers.
Further information, guidance and details about how to register are available on the Trust's website.
Applications may be made at any time.
