The Sterry Family Foundation’s focus is on awarding grants to UK registered charities and amateur sport organisations (individual athletes may also apply for grant support) in the areas of:
o Education and healthcare for sick and disabled children.
o Arts and culture, and
o Amateur sport.
This is not an exclusive list and in previous years the Foundation has made awards outside of the above categories.
The Foundation’s geographic area of interest is:
o United Kingdom.
o Botswana.
o Burundi.
o Kenya.
o Malawi.
o Mozambique.
o Rwanda.
o South Africa.
o Tanzania.
o Uganda.
o Zambia, and
o Zimbabwe.
Grants of between £500 and £3,000 are available. There is no match funding requirement.
During the year ending 5 April 2018 the Foundation awarded 37 grants (8 to individuals, 29 to charities and sports organisations).

Applications can be made at any time and are considered by the Foundation on a regular basis.
