The Scops Arts Trust

Generally small grants for smaller to medium sized UK registered charities to enhance the provision of music education in schools as well as outside of a school environment, and to widen access to the performing arts.

o Application deadline: Saturday 31 July 2021.

o Who can apply: smaller and medium sized UK registered charities. Applications from other forms of not-for profit organisations, such as community groups and social enterprises, will also be considered if they are formally constituted and have clear charitable purposes.

The Trust’s current areas of interest are:

o Enhancing the provision and quality of music education in schools and/or engaging children and young people in music outside of school, and
o Widening access to the performing arts and having a lasting cultural impact on the community.

The Trust generally supports registered charities. However, it will also consider applications from community groups and social enterprises if they are formally constituted and have clear charitable purposes. Whilst applications from large charities are not excluded, requests from small to medium sized organisations are looked on more favourably.

Charities interested in applying should initially complete the Eligibility Quiz on the Trust’s website.

Applicants that meet the eligibility criteria can then make a Stage 1 application by email.

The Trust will then draw up a shortlist and the selected applicants will be invited to complete a Stage 2 online application form.

The deadline for applications is Saturday 31 July 2021.
