The Rowing Foundation provides grants to support the sport of rowing, with a particular preference for encouraging rowing by the young or disabled through the provision of equipment, such as boats, sculls, ergos, oars and essential safety equipment.
Schools, organisations and clubs in England, Scotland and Wales that are involved in the water elements of the sport of rowing and who are individually affiliated to British Rowing may apply for a grant of between £500 and £3,000.
Please note: there is a match funding requirement for this scheme as grants are only made for up to 50% of the total project cost. Applicants will be expected to evidence that the remaining funding required has been sought and secured.
During the year ending 31 December 2018 the Trust awarded 35 grants (2017: 37 grants) totalling £75,743 (2017: £75,976).
