The Postcode Dream Trust’s Postcode Recovery Fund is a £3 million grant programme offering grants of between £500,000 and £1 million for registered charities in England, Scotland and Wales to deliver innovative projects that address issues affecting communities as they recover from the impact of COVID-19. Applicants must have an annual income of at least double the amount applied for (for example, charities applying for a grant of £500,000 must have an income of at least £1 million in their last financial year),
Grants will be awarded for unique projects that can demonstrate a clear link to the effects of the pandemic across the following six funding priority areas (other areas may also be considered for grant support if a compelling case can be made).
o Stage 1 is currently open to registered charities to submit the high-level details of their project and the problems they are trying to solve.
o Stage 2 involves the most impressive, impactful and original projects being shortlisted submitting a more detailed project application.
o Stage 3 will see the best entries invited to give a formal presentation to an assessment panel.
Further information, guidance and an application form is available on the Postcode Dream Trust’s website.
The deadline for Stage 1 applications is 5.30pm on Monday 30 October.
Successful applicants are expected to be announced in March 2021.
