Small grants averaging £2,000 for registered charities in England, Wales and overseas working in the areas of amateur sports, animal welfare, education, health, human rights, racial harmony, diversity, the relief of poverty and to support disadvantaged people in need.

o Who can apply: registered charities working in England, Wales and/or overseas.

Charities working in the following fields tend to be favoured by the Foundation:

o The advancement of amateur sports.
o The advancement of animal welfare.
o The advancement of education.
o The advancement of health or the saving of lives.
o The advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or the promotion of religious or racial harmony or equality and diversity
o The prevention or relief of poverty, 
and
o The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.

The Trustees usually meet annually to consider requests for grant support.
