The Inman Charity is an established grant-making Trust that provides funding to registered charities across the UK working with people who are disadvantaged. The Charity has a particular interest in funding activities in the following fields:
o Care of the elderly.
o General welfare.
o Hospices.
o The deaf and blind.
o Care of the physically and mentally disabled.
o The Armed Forces, and
o Medical research.
Charities registered and working in the UK may apply for a grant of up to £5,000 (although the Charity does not specify a minimum of maximum grant level, the vast majority of awards tend to be for between £2,000 and £5,000).
During the year ending 31 December 2018 the Charity awarded 66 grants totalling £344,300.

There is no stated requirement for match funding.
Grants are not available for:
o Individuals.
o Working with young children and infants.
o Maintenance of buildings at a local level such as churches and village halls.
o Animal welfare.
o Wildlife and environmental conservation, or
o Religious charities.
The Charity reviews applications twice annually in April/May and October/November.
The next application deadline is Friday 28 February 2020.
Please note there is no application form for this scheme. Applications should be made in writing and should include the following information:
1. The registered Charity Number, the aims and objectives of the Charity, and any other relevant factors.
2. Details of the total amount required.
3. Contributions received to date.
4. Proposed timing to complete the work.
5. A copy of the latest annual report, and
6. A set of the most recent audited accounts.
