A reminder that the Green Hall Foundation opens to applications at 9am this Sunday, 1 September, with what is likely to be a maximum 2-day application window as the Foundation only accepts the first 100 applications received.
Please note that this round, which is for applications to be considered in November, is only open to UK registered charities with an annual income on £250,000 or less.
The Foundation’s area of interest is to improve the lives of people who are:
o Sick or have poor health.
o Disabled, and/or
Grants are available for special projects or to purchase specific items of equipment that will make a tangible and lasting difference to the applying charity’s beneficiaries. Applications that have the ability to support a large number of beneficiaries will be prioritised over applications that support few beneficiaries.
Grants are normally between £1,000 to £10,000. Larger awards are made occasionally. During the year ending 5 April 2018 the Foundation awarded 129 grants totalling £366,350. The average award was therefore £2,840.

Funding is not available for:
o General running costs.
o Salaries, or
Once the next application round opens at 9am on Sunday 1 September, it will only remain open until 100 applications have been received, which is normally within 2 days.
Charities interested in applying have to register on the Foundation's website to access the online application form. All applications must be submitted online.
