THE GENERATIONS FOUNDATION

Grants averaging just under £20,000 are available to small UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas, particularly those that are providing support for disadvantaged children and their families, as well as the environment.

o Application deadline: none - applications may be made at any time. However, the Foundation requests that prospective applicants should contact it by email in the first instance to discuss whether their proposal is likely to secure grant support.

o Who can apply: UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas.

 

Established up by the Finch family in 2005, the Generations Foundation supports numerous local causes in the Borough of Merton, London, where the family lives. However, its also supports projects in developing countries ranging from India and Sri Lanka to Romania, Madagascar and Paraguay. In addition, it supports projects for environmental protection and conservation for future generations.

The Foundation’s focus is broadly divided between supporting disadvantaged children and their families, small local charities and environmental concerns.

The downloadable forms available on the Foundation’s website may also be used to make an application. However, the Foundation requests that prospective applicants should make contact in the first instance by email (using the email address above)  to gauge whether their request for funding is likely to be successful.
