The Fitton Trust is an established small grants provider that last year awarded 275 grants to UK registered charities totalling £73,600. The majority of the grants were for between £150 and £350. Just two charities received the maximum grant available of £1,000.
The Trust is a discretionary grant-maker, meaning that it places no restrictions on the types of good causes it supports. There is no requirement for matched funding.
The Trust does not publish a list of funded charities in its annual accounts, nor does it maintain a website. Further information about the Trust is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
The Trust meets three times a year, usually in April, August and December to consider requests for grant support.
