THE EMERTON-CHRISTIE CHARITY

Small grants, generally of £2,000 for UK registered charities carrying out education or social welfare projects.

The Emerton-Christie Charity supports a wide range of charitable causes across the UK with a focus on:

o People who are disadvantaged
o Health charities.
o Education, 
and
o The arts.

Applicants must be UK registered charities.

Grant awards are normally for £2,000, although small and sometimes larger grants up r £10,000 are made. During the year ending 5 April 2018 the Charity awarded 37 grants totalling £90,000 (2017: 34 grants totalling £72,300).

Match funding is not required.

A list of all awards made during the last two years can be found on pages 12 and 13 of the Trust’s annual accounts.

The following are not available for funding:

o Individuals.
o Religious purposes.
o Building work, 
or
o Start-up projects.

Although applications may be made at any time, this is a good time to apply to the Charity as its trustees meet in the autumn to review applications.
