Who can apply: UK registered charities, including Charitable Incorporated Organisations CIOs) , constituted organisations and non-registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs) and Community Benefit Societies CBSs), Parish and Town Councils, Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs), Churches and other religious organisations (please note that this is not an exclusive list and other types of not-for-profit organisation may also be able to apply).
The aim of the £1.5 million Co-Op Food Fund is to support local charities and community organisations that are working to tackle food poverty in communities across the UK. The programme is particularly – but not exclusively – directed towards Foodbanks, holiday hunger schemes, projects that encourage healthy eating and programmes tackling food waste.
