THE CO-OP COMMUNITY FUND

Small grants for locally based, not-for-profit organisations in the UK and the Isle of Man for projects that help people access food, help improve mental wellbeing and offer young people the opportunity to develop new skills which will benefit their community.

_______________

o Application deadline: Sunday 30 May 2021 at midnight.

o Funder: The Co-operative Group Limited.

o Who can apply: any UK not-for-profit organisation within the vicinity of a Co-op Store or Funeral Home. Eligible organisations include UK registered charities, Community Amateur Sports Clubs, Community Interest Companies (CICs), community and voluntary groups, Community Benefit Societies, churches or chapels that are ‘excepted’ charities, Co-operative Societies, Credit Unions and Scout, Guide or Woodcraft Folk groups.

The Co-op Community Fund’s priorities for its 2021 funding programme are projects which:

o Enable people to access food and co-operate together to feed everyone.
o Help improve people’s mental wellbeing,
and/or
o Offer young people opportunities to develop new skills and make a difference in their community.

This is a public voting grant programme, whereby Co-op community members vote on the project they want to support in their local community. Projects should therefore be in communities that are served by a Co-op Food store or a Co-op Funeral Home.

Further information, guidance and the online application form is available on the Co-op Community Fund webpage.
