Social Development Fund – Moving Forward
The Social Development Moving Forward Fund is open for applications until midday on Friday 14th August 2020. The fund has two strands.
Strand 1 - Response
The response element is to support organisations to deliver activities for vulnerable people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This strand is funded by Comic Relief from monies raised from the Big Night In.
Strand 2 - Recovery
The aim of this element of the fund is to ensure that third sector/voluntary organisations have the resources to restart or set up ( Prime Pump) sustainable services and activities to achieve the outcome of improving peoples physical and mental well-being to promote independent living and to prevent higher level intervention.
The fund is open to Social Value Sector Organisations as follows:
- Registered Charities
- Community Interest Companies
- Charitable Incorporated Organisations
- Co-operatives
- Social Enterprises
- Powys County, Town and Community Councils working in partnership with a Social Value Sector Organisation where the Social Value Organisation is the lead applicant and the accountable grant recipient.
- Informal non-constituted groups working in partnership with a constituted organisation/group. The constituted organisation/group will be the lead applicant and accountable grant recipient.
Duration of Fund
Projects and initiatives will be expected to commence delivery in September 2020 and will be funded until 31st March 2021.
Strand 1 Response has a total of £26,591 available and Strand 2 Recovery has £141,751 available.
No limits have been set on the amount organisations can apply for as the panel will make decisions on the best use of the available resource.
