LAWRENCE ATWELL'S CHARITY

Revenue grants up to £10,000 per-year up to 3 years are available for registered charities in England and Wales that are helping disadvantaged young people move into employment or become employment ready.

__________

o Application deadline: FRIDAY 4 MARCH 2022.

o Who can apply: registered charities in England and Wales with an annual turnover of under £1 million.

Lawrence Atwell's Charity provides grant funding to registered charities in England and Wales that are enabling disadvantaged young people to move into employment or become employment ready.

Registered charities may apply for a revenue grant (the Charity does not fund capital projects) of up to £10,000 for each year up to a maximum period of 3 years. Grants tend to be for specific projects rather than general organisational costs. The Charity will, however, consider pro-rata staffing and operational costs where appropriate.

The Charity will prioritise charities which:

o Are based in London and Kent, the historic areas of Skinners' Company activity.
o Help young people attain a vocational qualification.
o Offer long-term tracking of beneficiaries, to establish quality outcomes,
and
o Operate in partnership with other local organisations.

To apply, eligible organisations are required to contact the Charity using the email address below, providing a short outline of their project. If they are considered eligible, the Charity will then contact the organisation with details about how to apply.

The Charity meets twice each year to review applications, in April and November.

The next deadline for applications is Friday 4 March 2022.
