The Small Grants Scheme is open to smaller UK charities for funds up to £10,000. Applications may be made at any time.
The Main Grants Scheme has a revised criteria which takes into account the impact of coronavirus/COVID-19. Grants of up to £50,000 are available.
There are two strands under the Main Grant programme. Both will support revenue and capital projects:
1. Arts - this strand is designed to improve the sustainability of the arts and support groups which work to achieve this. Generally, funding is for specific projects/activities that offer long-term benefit and sustainability.
2. Learning - this strand is designed to support projects that facilitate the acquisition of knowledge such as through increased access to places of learning (for example, museums and libraries) and which have a long-term strategic impact.
There is a match funding expectation for the Main Grants Scheme. Applicants will be required to state what other funding will contribute to the project in question.
Applications may be made at any time – there are no deadlines for either the Main or Small Grants Schemes.
Further information, guidance notes, together with an application form is available on theFoundation's website.
