Grants up to £10,000 for registered charities in the UK and the Republic of Ireland to turn creative ideas into practical projects in the areas of arts, culture and heritage, climate change and environment, education and skills, human rights and equality, and community development in rural areas.

o Who can apply: registered charities in the UK and Republic of Ireland with an annual income of less than £5 million.

The aim of Phase 2 is to "actively championing innovation, giving charities the backing they need to propel their plans forward and turn creative ideas into practical solutions that benefit society".

Applications are invited from charities working in the following fields:

Arts, culture or heritage – projects should help celebrate, preserve or protect heritage and culture.
Climate change or environment – projects should contribute to the collective challenge to tackle impact on the climate and environment.
Education and skills - projects should enable learning and development, in particular among young people.
Human rights and equality – projects should further a more inclusive and equal world for everyone.
Rural community development - projects should support and build communities, in particular in rural areas.

A budget of £500,000 has been ringfenced for Phase 2, with awards to be allocated as follows:

o 30 charities will receive an award of £10,000
o 2 winning charities will receive an additional award of £50,000
o 1 winning charity will receive an additional award of £100,000.

Applications for Phase 2 may be submitted via the application form on the Movement for Good awards website, where guidance notes and further information is also available.

The scheme opened on Monday 12 July for four weeks, and will close on Friday 6 August 2021.
