BARCLAYS COMMUNITY FOOTBALL FUND AND THE SPORTED FOUNDATION

Grants of £500 or £2,000 are available to make playing football more accessible at grassroots level for under-represented groups, including girls, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and young people with a disability.

The aim of the Barclays Community Football Fund, which is being managed by the Sported Foundation on behalf of Barclays, is to make playing football more accessible at a grassroots level, and in particular focused on including and inspiring:

o Girls and young people from lower socio-economic and under-represented groups.
o Culturally diverse communities.
o Young people with disabilities,
 and
o Young people from the LGBTQ+ community.

Community organisations that are keen to offer football and want to expand their existing provision to new audiences, as well as organisations that are already delivering football to under-represented groups are encouraged to apply.
