Aviva Community Fund open with criteria update

The fund have broadened their eligibility criteria to support causes in addressing the impact of the outbreak.Charities can apply for funding of up to a maximum of £50,000.

Aviva want to support forward-thinking causes that are helping push communities forward, so your submitted project must:

  • fall within one of our two key funding areas: (1) Financial capability and inclusion: giving people the tools to become more financially independent (2) Community resilience: tackling inequality and improving environments to build more connected, more resilient communities

  • be raising funds to develop a new approach, product or technology, pilot a new scheme, implement a new initiative, or expand existing services to a new area or beneficiary group within the UK

In addition, for the current round of funding the eligibility criteria include:

  • covering the core running costs of causes looking to adapt or continue their vital services throughout the COVID-19 outbreak in order to help their beneficiaries and communities during this time of need.

The deadline for the current round of applications is 28th July 2020.

Before submitting an idea, take a careful look through this eligibility checklist. If there are any points you require further clarification around, please read the FAQs or contact them at communityfund(at)aviva.com.
