Community Sector Network: Workshops

Please join us at the Community Sector Network Autumn Workshop at PAVO in Llandridnod Wells, Powys on Thursday 23 January 2020.

Building Communities Trust need your help to gather thoughts from the sector on two key topics:

1 How do communities work with Government?
Public sector bodies are talking more and more about building stronger communities and working with communities. What does this mean for you and your organisation? What are they getting right
and what are they getting wrong?
Welsh Government have recognised that they have a gap in their policies for working with communities and this is your chance to have your say.

2 How might we use a Community Wealth Fund in Wales?
After years of funding cuts, there’s a different kind of funding opportunity on the horizon. The possibility of another wave of dormant financial assets (this time stocks and shares) being used to support ‘good causes’ is now being actively discussed through the creation of a Community Wealth Fund. Have your say about how this could work in Wales to ensure local communities can get the most from this opportunity.
