Building an effective ‘Case for Support’

Catalyst Cymru, a WCVA project funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund is delivering a series of free online training courses to support voluntary Heritage organisations’ fundraising activities in June and July 2020. Building an effective ‘Case for Support’ is the first in the series.

Aims

How do you persuade people to give money to your organisation? Creating a compelling argument that will move people to support you is essential for effective fundraising. This interactive session will give you a jump-start to creating powerful fundraising messaging for your cause.

Content

You know why your organisation is fantastic and you are passionate about its potential – but can you persuade others? This very practical session will walk you through the key processes that you will have to undertake to create a powerful case for support for your organisation. We will help you to bring together the resources that you will need to create a strong case for support that your organisation can deploy for a whole range of fundraising activities. This workshop has been adapted for small groups working on Zoom.
