THE WEINSTOCK FUND

Grants generally of between £2,000 and £5,000 for UK registered charities working in the areas of arts, culture and music, community projects, disability, education, support for the elderly, the environment, medical causes and social welfare.

o Who can apply: UK registered charities.

The Weinstock Fund is a Somerset-based grant-making trust which awards small grants, generally up to £5,000, to smaller UK registered charities. Grants can be awarded for a period of up to 3 consecutive years.

While the charity supports a wide range of charitable causes, it has a stated preference for UK charities working in the following areas:

o The arts, culture and music.
o Community projects.
o Disability.
o Education.
o The elderly.
o The environment.
o Medical charities, 
and
o Social welfare.

Funding is not available for:

o Charities working outside of the UK.
o Individuals, 
or
o Research projects or hospices that have not previously received funding from the Weinstock Fund.

Applications may be made at any time and are reviewed regularly by trustees. Please note that applicants should submit their application at least 6 months before their project is scheduled to commence.
