THE VEGAN SOCIETY GRANT PROGRAMME

Grants up to £1,000 are available across the UK and overseas for projects that encourage non-vegans to go vegan and stay vegan.

o Application deadline: Friday 31 December 2021.

o Funder: The Vegan Society (founded 1944. Charity number 279228. Total charitable expenditure for the year ended 31 December 2020: £3,171,537).

o Who can apply: small to medium sized grassroots not-for-profit organisations working in the UK and/or overseas.

Nicely coinciding with vegan sausage roll week on The Great British Bake Off, the Vegan Society is offering small grants to grassroots groups and organisations worldwide who wish to engage their local community in vegan outreach initiatives. The Vegan Society Grant Programme is intended to support projects which will encourage non-vegans to go vegan and stay vegan. The Society is particularly looking to fund new or innovative projects.

The Society is particularly seeking to fund projects that:

o Promote veganism in a unique or exciting way to non-vegans.
o Raise public awareness of veganism in a positive way,
and
o Support people from marginalised backgrounds to access veganism.

While there is no maximum award level, grant awards rarely exceed £1,000.

Further information, guidance and details about how to apply are available on the Vegan Society website.

The deadline for applications is Friday 31 December 2021.
