Reading-based grant-making charity, the Trelix Charitable Trust normally awards a significant number of small grants annually in support of a wide range of charitable causes in the UK and overseas. The broad objectives of the Trust are “to make donations towards or otherwise to promote or assist such charitable purposes and institutions as the Trustees may think fit”.

During the year ended 5 April 2021, the Trust made grants to 81 charities totalling £94,000 (2020: 16 grants totalling £21,000).

Grants between £500 and £4,000 were awarded, with an average grant of £1,160. While a few grants were repeat awards, the majority of grants were made to applicants not funded in the previous year.
