THE GREEN HALL FOUNDATION

Grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 are available to UK registered charities for the purchase of equipment or to fund projects.

Application deadline: this item provides advance notice of the Foundation’s next grant round, which will open at 9am on Wednesday 1 September 2021 and close as soon as 100 applications have been received, which is often within an hour or two of the programme opening.

Who can apply: UK registered charities working in the UK or overseas with an annual income of £250,000 or less.

The overarching objective of the Green Hall Foundation is to sustainably improve lives, particularly among the sick, the elderly, homeless, the disabled and the disadvantaged, especially in the UK. The Foundation places an emphasis on social welfare and medicine, especially where this provides support for young people in need, as well as people who are "mentally and physically disabled". Preference is given to appeals that will make a tangible and lasting difference to the applying charity rather than for core costs. Overseas projects may also be supported provided the applying charity is registered in the UK.

Funding is not available for:

o Core or general operational costs.
o Individuals,
or
o Salaries.

To apply, applicants are required to register on the Foundation’s website, where further information, frequently asked questions (FAQs) and registration information is available. Registration can be made at any time in advance of the application window opening.

Charities can then complete the online application form as soon as the programme opens at 9am on Wednesday 1 September 2021. An example of the application form is available at this LINK.
