The Edith Lilian Harrison 2000 Foundation is a discretionary grant making charity which provides small grants, generally of between £1,000 and £5,000, for a diverse range of charitable causes across England and Wales.
Charities working in the following areas tend to be favoured by the Foundation:
o Arts.
o Children and young people.
o Disability, particularly charities working with those who are deaf and/or blind.
o Elderly.
o Health and medical causes, and
o Hospices/cancer care.
Please note that the Foundation does not maintain a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
The Foundation’s trustees generally meet on a half-yearly basis, usually in May and November, unless required to meet more often (its trust deed specifies a minimum of two ordinary meetings in each year).
