Smaller and larger grants are available to UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas in the fields of education and mental health.

o Who can apply: UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas.

Family-based grant-making charity the Danson Foundation aims to contribute to the quality of life of people by providing grants, loans and non-monetary support to individuals, institutions and organisations.

The Foundation focuses its grant-making on two main areas:

1. Education – the Foundation supports people in education from early years to adulthood. Its educational grants are designed to support growth and development on a practical and personal level as the Foundation believes that education can change the direction of lives positively.

2. Mental Health – the Foundation funds practical projects that support people’s mental wellbeing which lead to positive change in their lives as it believes improving access to mental health services and support is essential.

The Foundation meets at least twice a year to review grant applications.
