THE CRUACH TRUST

Grants between £500 and £2,000 available to UK - and particularly Scottish - charities and charitable organisations to support gardeners, retired gardeners and the preservation of gardens throughout the United Kingdom.

__________

o Application deadline: MONDAY 12th SEPTEMBER 2022.

o Who can apply: registered or recognised charities, societies, trusts or other bodies. Please note that, although the Trust funds across the UK, it has a preference for supporting small and local Scottish charities.

The Cruach Trust provides small grants to charitable organisations which are supporting gardeners, retired gardeners and for preserving gardens throughout the United Kingdom.

While this continues to be the Trust’s foremost grant-making priority, it also makes donations to a wide range of organisations in the UK and overseas, including the arts, culture, education, the environment, medical research and people in need. The Trust prefers to support projects that can demonstrate how they will ‘make a difference’ and will prioritise small and local Scottish charities over applications from England, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Grants are generally for between £500 and £2,000 with an occasional higher award. There is no specified requirement for matched funding.

Further information, guidance and an online application form is available on the Trust’s website.

The next deadline for applications is Monday 12th September 2022
