The Casey Trust provides funding for UK registered charities for new and innovative projects that support children aged up to 18. Funding is for UK and/or worldwide projects and initiatives.
The Trust is specifically looking to support ‘start up project’ (or clearly identifiable new initiatives within existing projects), rather than contributions to recurring events or continuing programmes and asks potential applicants to consider the question "if only we had the funds to do that" for a new piece of work.
The Trust’s current funding priorities are:
o The arts.
o Mental health,
o Child refugees in the UK, and
o Inner-city projects.
There are no minimum or maximum grant awards levels. Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees.
Applications, which are considered on a regular basis, may be made at any time in writing (there is no application form) and should include:
o A brief outline of what the organisation does.
o What the project is.
o A clear budget and, if available, and
o A recent set of the organisation’s accounts
Applications must be submitted by post.
Emailed applications will be automatically rejected.
