Grants up to £25,000 are available to charitable organisations in the UK and/or overseas to promote and advance the conservation of amphibians and reptiles.

Bristol-based family-based grant-making charity the Beveridge Herpetological Trust focuses on the branch of zoology that deals with reptiles and amphibians.

The objectives of the Trust are:

(a) To promote and advance the conservation of amphibians and reptiles, their habitats and the wider environment on which they depend.
(b) To advance the education of the public by the establishment and maintenance of herpeto-faunal nature reserves.
(c) To execute, promote, support and publish research relevant to species and habitat conservation pertinent to amphibians and reptiles, 
and
(d) To further such purpose or purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales in any part of the world and in such manner as the trustees may in their absolute discretion think fit.  

The Trust endeavours to meet the above objectives through the awarding of grants.
