The National Art Collection Fund’s Art Fund Reimagine Programme is designed to inspire creativity and increase stability in the creative sector. The Fund will support organisations to develop or refresh their work in response to the challenges posed by and following COVID-19.

Grants are available for projects that are:

o Context-specific
o Creative or innovative.
o Engaging,
and
o Impactful.

In 2022, the key overarching aim for the Reimagine programme is to fund projects that will help organisations reimagine their approach to engagement.

The term “engagement” is used in the broadest sense. The Fund is interested in audiences and communities, but also in how engagement relates to other areas of an applicant’s work. The funder therefore expects the shape of the projects to be varied. As such, the programme has been designed to accommodate a broad range of activities, outputs, and costs within tits key overarching aim.

In 2022, the Art Fund will be offering grants of between £10,000 and £50,000.

Matched funding is not an essential requirement for the Reimagine Programme. However, applicants should evidence what other funding has been sought and secured in support of their proposal.

To apply, applicants will be required to create a “My Art Fund” account at the Art Fund website. Guidance notes and an online application process are then made available to help complete the application form.

In 2022, there will be one funding round for all applicants which opens on Monday 4th July. The application deadline hasn’t been published on the Art Fund website, but should be made available once registration has been completed.
