LORD BARNBY'S CHARITABLE FOUNDATION supports a wide range of charitable causes across the UK through its Discretionary Fund. Awards have previously been made to:
o Health and medical charities.
o Hospices and hospitals.
o Museums, and
o Uniformed youth groups such as Scouts and Sea Scouts.
During the year ended 31 March 2020, the Foundation awarded 77 grants totalling £313,000. Grants ranged from £500 to £12,000, with an average award of £4,065 (2019: 92 grants totalling £226,740, with an average award of £2,465).
There is no specified requirement for matched funding.

Applications may be made at any time in writing and should include:
o A brief description of the organisation and project, and
