Didymus CIO is a small grant-making charity that provides small grants of up to £5,000 to small-medium sized charities working to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in the UK, Africa or Central and South America that are working in the following fields. Applications from outside London are encouraged.
o To encourage social inclusion.
o To advance education.
o To develop the arts.
o To advance equality and diversity by creating opportunities for women, and
o To promote religious understanding.
Grants can be used for:
o Covering educational costs.
o Purchasing equipment.
o Providing activities, such as music or arts sessions, and
o Training costs.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
o Be a UK registered charity.
o Have an annual income between £20,000 and £1,000,000.
o Have lodged two sets of accounts with the Charity Commission, and
o Seeking funding for work based within the UK, Africa or Central and South America.

The charity’s application deadlines for 2022 are:
o Saturday 30 April (applications will be reviewed in June).
o Wednesday 31 August (applications will be reviewed in October), and
o Saturday 31 December (applications will be reviewed in February 2023).
