COMMUNITY SECTOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (C-SERT)

PAVO, within the county’s partnership arrangements, has established a Community Sector Emergency Response Team (C-SERT).

This comprises county organisations that offer volunteer support and emergency response services alongside partners from Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board.

C-SERT has adopted a three-pronged approach to supporting people and communities:

1. Community Support Networks
2. COVID-19 Powys Health and Care Volunteers
3. COVID-19 Voluntary Sector Information and Engagement

The notes from C-SERT meetings can be accessed by clicking on the links below.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT NETWORKS

Our Community Connector service (please click here for details) is supporting and coordinating thirteen community support networks across Powys.

These networks seek to bring together the very many informal and formal voluntary initiatives that are operating to help people keep safe and well.

If you would like to get involved in your community to help people, or if you know of anyone that needs help, please contact the Community Connectors.

Our Community Connectors can be contacted on 01597 828649 or by emailing community.connectors((at)pavo.org.uk
