When a vulnerable person is arrested, they need an Appropriate Adult to support them in Custody

Hafal is recruiting volunteers from Mid and West Wales to become Appropriate Adults

What does an Appropriate Adult (AA) do?

  • Supports, advises and assists vulnerable detainees in Custody
  • Ensures the police act fairly, respecting the Detained Person's rights
  • Aids communication between the DP, Police and others

2 days to be attended

Tuesday 9th May and Tuesday 16th May 2017

10.30am and 3.30pm
