The Government launched SAFED in 2006 to improve driver safety and reduce fatalities whilst on the road and bring fuel-saving benefits to organisations. SAFED training can improve the driving skills of van drivers, making them safer and more fuel efficient.

Training is normally on a 2:1 driver to trainer ratio and lasts a full day, half day 1:1 training is available. The course includes a short theory presentation and then looks at practical driving techniques and is usually based from your work premises.
