This is a new course launched in 2010 called the “5 Steps to Safety” which replaces the older minibus emergency evacuation course. By the end of this session you will be able to:

• Recognise common causes of vehicle fires
• Know how to reduce the risk of vehicle fires
• Know when and how to use a fire extinguisher
• Know how to safely evacuate a vehicle

The driver’s course lasts for ½ a day and the trainers course a full day. This is an excellent course which will give drivers and trainers the skills necessary to deal with a dangerous and potentially life threatening situation.

The trainer’s course can only be taken if you / we can only deliver the trainers course to those who hold a current MiDAS DAT or PAT trainer’s certificate. We are one of only four training agencies in the UK able to train trainers in the UK.
