This is a full day accredited course in Basic First Aid. Certificates will be sent following a successful assessment. Each course can be made relevant to participants' needs and contains the following elements:

• Priorities of First Aid and getting help
• Reporting and record keeping
• Care of the conscious and unconscience casualty
• Resuscitation
• Dealing with choking
• Dealing with blood loss and shock
• Burns
• Fractures
• Spinal injuries
• Eye injuries
• Medical emergencies: heart attack, stroke, seizures etc
• First Aid Kits
