The Bracken Trust Singers
The Bracken Trust Singers are a singing therapy group and are members of The Bracken Trust. Formed five years ago they now have 28 members made up of cancer patients, cancer survivors, the bereaved, nurses and friends.
They have their own professional accompanist, too. The aim is to enjoy a health-giving and social hobby whilst helping to raise awareness of the work of the Trust by giving concerts throughout the region and hopefully to receive donations. The Bracken Trust Singers have made their first CD, the proceeds of which are going directly to the Trust.
They welcome new-comers to the group which meets every week on Mondays from 10am-12noon at the Bracken.
The only charge is a one-off £1 Bracken Trust Life-long Membership and £1/week to cover refreshments.
