National Institute for Health Research - Funded Research
Study of different models being deployed that use GPs in or alongside Emergency Departments
We have been asked to support the above, who are looking for patients and carers who have attended an Emergency Dept. in the past year for non-life threatening or life changing symptoms and who would like to use their experience to help the research.
This study, funded by the NHS, is studying practice in twelve hospital Emergency Departments - nine hospitals that use G.P's in different ways and three hospitals that do not currently use G.P's.
If you are a patient, a parent of a child patient or a carer of a patient, your experience could help this research. Travel expenses and costs to arrange a carer will be paid, and it may be possible to provide accommodation.
A Stakeholder Meeting will be held in Central Bristol on Tuesday February 27th 2018
Closing Date for Applications is 5th January 2018
